Period Positive Book

The Period Positive Book by Chella Quint, is a great resource. It encourages us to refer folks that menstruate at menstruators. This creates a more inclusive conversation about menstruation. There is a wonderful website also that states “We strive to ensure that no matter what your gender, whether you menstruate or not, that you’ll feel more confident and comfortable talking about menstruation publicly and privately, so that you can do your part and join the bloody fight.”

Period Positive and PMDD

It is a challenge to be Period Positive when you are dealing with Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder. The first step is learning about your body and hormones. Learning what and why things might or might not happen is a good start.
