People That Inspire Me

This is the second post I have written with the title, People That Inspire Me. I meet so many people that inspire me. I am not sure why I have not written until now, but here we are. I will not claim to know this person. I had the opportunity recently to get a sense of who he was. I met him when he was a child, I visited him at his grade school with his father. I guess they used to let parents come during the lunch time and sit in the cafeteria and eat lunch with their kids. He sure was happy to see his father, he had the best dad in the world.

It is hard to explain the feeling I got when being around his family and friends. It is hard to put it into words, it feels more like colors would explain him. Blue, calm, but also sad, like the expansive sky, with infinite possibilities and challenges. It reminds us that we are part of something, much bigger than what we might think. Yellow, hopeful, like the sun, helping our flowers and trees grow, helping us remember we are all connected. Purple, which may indicate wisdom and whimsy. Purple is also rare in nature, at least where I live, like a lilac or when the sun sets and makes the clouds appear purple. Your mother knew who you were, she is so lucky, you had the best mom in the world.

Your wonderful friend described the way you knocked on his door, another told me that you snowboarded together. Someone mentioned that you liked to laugh. You seemed like a fun person to be around. Your brother and you are laughing together in photos. You had the best brother in the world. You impacted so many people. The world will never be the same without you.

The video made it seem like you were floating on air. The place where I learned these things about you had sunlight shimmering through the trees. A glimmer at times. One might call it a glow. Are you still floating? It seems you were meant to float. The beautiful you that was unfurling, like music, will not be forgotten.
