There is so much to say about 2020. A year of great challenges, on top of what you were already dealing with. Maybe your job changed, or you lost your job. Perhaps you are working from home while figuring out at home schooling for kids. Maybe your own school or training has been disrupted, altering your future. Are you figuring out changing technology on a daily basis? You may have cancelled important medical appointments or you may be putting them off, which could be impacting your health. Most are missing friends and family members as we are not moving about as effortlessly as we used to. Maybe you are missing co workers and the structure that having a job or going to a job gave to your life. You may be grieving a loss in a way December 2020 feels like the end of something. December 2020 would normally be a time of reflection, but are tired of reflection?

One day we may feel hopeful, the next day hopeless. It is overwhelming to feel our own grief and the collective grief like never before. Or you may be struggling to find any moments of hope. Activities that used to feel normal to you are not accessible at this time. A trip out of town, something that used to help you get through the year has so many different considerations today. We are trying to find hope in different things. Holiday lights, a book, a movie, a show, the sun, snow, the birth of a new year or more daylight each day, after December 21.
