The holiday season will bring a lot of articles and advice about how to practice self-care. These articles can encourage or discourage us, or both. There is so much information coming our way, it is hard to remember that we are truly unique individuals. Certainly, running might work for some folks, while it won’t work for others. Yoga is said to be a way to connect inwardly. Some kinds of activities have a social benefit. Some kinds of activities need to be practiced alone. Whatever you choose to do, exercise is a spiritual practice that needs to feed who you are. I say read the articles that come your way this season. Information is useful, if we do not use it to judge ourselves.
