We are all learning we have to talk about suicide. We are encouraged to talk about it. We are encouraged to check in on each other. If you are scared to ask someone if they are suicidal, check out this article , How to Talk to Someone About Suicide.

The National Suicide Prevention Website has the phone number to call, 800-273-8255, you can call for yourself or call and ask questions or for resources. The National Alliance on Mental Health also has a hotline 1-800-950-NAMI (6264) or info@nami.org

This video is helpful, it highlights what mental health might look like. This is a hard video to watch. The words are hard to hear, but if you feel up to it, it is an experience of an individual that could not communicate his pain. He says in the video “we need you to be having this conversation, whether we are ready to have it or not.”
